Please join us for October 18th coffee where our guest speaker will be Gene Hughes, a Nelson County historian, storyteller, and award-winning author. Gene will tell us about Hawes Coleman and the founding of the original community of Wintergreen. One of the first settlers in the county, Hawes Coleman was a soldier in the Revolutionary War and the owner of Elk Hill plantation.
