This is a special meeting open only to HSW members and volunteers. It will be of special interest to those currently holding, or in the process of obtaining long-term care insurance. Our speaker is Wintergreen resident Barbara Ward, who has worked in the long-term care insurance industry for several years.

Barbara has been asked to lead a generalized discussion on long-term care insurance. Some of the topics she will address at Tuckahoe Clubhouse include:

• How to manage rising premiums.

• Policy needs that change over the age of 75.

• How and when to think about filing a claim.

• Things policies cover that many might not know about such as handicap equipment and respite care.

There is no requirement to pre-register for this HSW event.  No individualized consultations will be available on Thursday but may be considered later.
