Everyone Needs a Plan: #1. An introduction

  • Tuckahoe Clubhouse 32 Stone Orchard Dr Nellysford, VA 22958 USA (map)

This is the first of a new series of six (or more) presentations on creating and maintaining a 21st Century “life plan.”
This Here to Stay in Wintergreen program will include topics such as legal planning, financial planning, and medical planning.
The series is only open to active HSW volunteers and members.

Introduction: To Plan or Not to Plan
April 21, 2022, at 11 am at Tuckahoe Clubhouse
Register using the form below

In our first meeting, Don Westfall will introduce this series on April 21st with an overview. As a semi-retired attorney living in Stoney Creek, he has decades of experience in estate planning, wills, and other family law issues. His insights will no doubt be invaluable. Interestingly, while the two books are almost 25-years-old, Don is highly recommending Die Broke and Live Rich, both by Stephen M. Pollan and Mark Levine.

This series is open only to HSW members and volunteers. Registration is a must. Use the form below. Questions? Email Linda Harrington at linda.harrington7@gmail.com.

Note: For April only, HSW’s monthly coffee will precede the presentation at 10 am at Tuckahoe Clubhouse.

Our plan for this series on planning is to hold a workshop once a month. Programs are being set up to bring in knowledgeable speakers on topics such as what should a medical plan include, understanding hospice and palliative care, wills and trusts, home modifications, and even "How to lead a good life." Later this year a "care fair" for HSW members and volunteers will feature selected area service providers.
