Understanding Dementia

This free program is open to the entire community. No membership is needed. Pre-registering is requested, however.

This month’s meeting will be highlighted by presentations from two leaders within the University of Virginia’s award-winning “Memory and Aging Care Clinic” .

Samantha Fields and Liz Boyd are both Dementia Care Coordinators at the UVA Clinic and will share their insights and answer questions for the attendees.

Caregivers can benefit from a place where they can feel comfortable sharing their experiences and feelings in a confidential and reassuring setting.

The group is led by Gordon Walker, an experienced moderator best known for his years of service with the Jefferson Area Board for Aging.
